CBN01: Fishy Situations & Farkin Old Skool

“Fishy Situations” carries on from Omega 3’s previous releases,
with their unique style of combining hard bass lines and harsh hats
with epic melodies and soaring synths to create monster of a track
that will have punters waving their arms like demented conductors. On
the flip side, for “Farkin’ Old School” the boys have obviously had
fun raiding Tinrib’s studio in making a track that really does remind
us of the old school stompers. Off beat bass, bubbling acid and some
evil hoovers result in a track that has already proved to be a
destructive force, making you wonder where you go from here.

Justin Bourne says

“It's always good news for our scene when a new label arrives. This time we have Carbon Recordings based in one of my favourite countries New Zealand. Along with Tripoli's resurrection this is the label I'm most excited about this year. The first two tracks from Omega 3 have featured heavily in my sets, especially the massive Fishy Situations which is a contender for my track of the year. The flipside Farkin’ Oldskool is for the harder heads who aren’t into the uplifting Trancier riffs. If you’re looking for top quality Hard Dance then look no further. Respect!"

Andy Farley says:

“Omega 3, a name you can’t have failed to notice if you’re an avid clubber on the hard scene. No I’m talking about cod liver oil, I’m talking about the trio from Christchurch who have been putting out the best and biggest uplifting hard nrg tracks over the past year. What better then than to have an album of all their material. Cue Omega 3 Lost @ Sea continuously mixed by Captain Tinrib himself. Eleven tracks in all, and all of which are currently on the playlists of djs such as Paul Glazby, Ben Stevens, Justin Bourne, Jp & Jukesy and myself to name just a few. Kicking off with the two tracks already signed to Vicious Circle, We Can Fly & Subsonic, you’re taken on a journey through to the amazing Fishy Situations currently my most asked after tune, a remix of the Captain’s Manta, to finish with Farkin’ Oldskool, another tune that has I’ve been hammering for the past six months or so. Look out for the launch of their Carbon Recordings imprint coming soon also, with the remix of Manta 3 kicking things off. Omega 3 - good for your health... most definitely”
