CBN01: Fishy Situations & Farkin Old Skool

“Fishy Situations” carries on from Omega 3’s previous releases,
with their unique style of combining hard bass lines and harsh hats
with epic melodies and soaring synths to create monster of a track
that will have punters waving their arms like demented conductors. On
the flip side, for “Farkin’ Old School” the boys have obviously had
fun raiding Tinrib’s studio in making a track that really does remind
us of the old school stompers. Off beat bass, bubbling acid and some
evil hoovers result in a track that has already proved to be a
destructive force, making you wonder where you go from here.

“It's always good news for our scene when a new label arrives. This time we have Carbon Recordings based in one of my favourite countries New Zealand. Along with Tripoli's resurrection this is the label I'm most excited about this year. The first two tracks from Omega 3 have featured heavily in my sets, especially the massive Fishy Situations which is a contender for my track of the year.
